Grain-Free Macadamia Granola Recipe

 Macadamia Granola


Simply pulse and toast your favorite nuts with a touch of cinnamon and sweetness to get all the comforting crunch of granola without the grains.

  • 1 cup raw macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup raw pecans
  • 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 2 Tbsp coconut sugar (or keto sweetener of choice)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 300F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a food processor, combine macadamia nuts, almonds, and pecans. Pulse until roughly chopped.
  3. Add pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, sweetener, cinnamon, and sea salt. Pulse 1-2 times until just mixed.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk egg white, coconut oil, and vanilla extract until combined. Add nut mixture and stir well until completely coated. 
  5. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, until lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Once cooled, crumble granola and store in an airtight container.
